Trust is the whole point

Qalam Studio exists because generic AI tools weren't built with Islamic values in mind. They draw what they shouldn't, invent facts — including verses — when unsure, and leave you double-checking everything. We built a general-purpose assistant that gets this right by default.
We don't issue religious rulings

Qalam Studio is a content tool, not a mufti. We do not issue fatwas or religious rulings. When a topic is a matter on which qualified scholars differ, we say so plainly — and we encourage you to consult your local imam or a scholar you trust.
Verified citations, whenever Islamic topics come up

Qalam Studio works like any general AI assistant for everyday questions. When a conversation touches the Quran, Hadith, tafsir, or fiqh, every reference is checked against our verified sources before it reaches you — if it can't be verified, it isn't shown. No made-up citations, ever.
No haram images, ever

Image generations pass through layered, halal-specific moderation before delivery. No figurative depictions of prophets, no haram content — screened automatically, end to end.
Not routed through Big Tech AI

Your questions and images are processed by AI models we picked on purpose, not by the AI services of the big US tech companies. That's a deliberate choice, not an accident of what was cheapest at the time. We don't disclose which models they are.
Scholar review — our plan, not yet a claim

We want our content methodology reviewed by qualified scholars, and we're actively identifying and reaching out to candidates for that. Until that review is actually confirmed, we won't claim it's done — a brand built on "honest, never fabricated" doesn't get to fudge that about itself. Today, accuracy comes from the verified-citation pipeline above, not a scholar sign-off. We'll update this page the moment that changes, and we welcome feedback at hello@qalamstudio.ai.
